How to Choose a Rug for Your Bedroom

      When choosing an area rug for your bedroom the most important aspect to focus on is the size of your bed. For a full-size bed, it is recommended that you use a 5'x 8' area rug placing the rug perpendicular to the bed, exposing it in the front and equally on both sides of your bed. 

       The same rule applies to queen-sized beds, but it is recommended that an 8'x 10'or           9'x 12 rug is purchased. When choosing a rug beneath a king-size bed, bigger is better. A rug that is too small will detract from the grand look of your bedroom and create an uncoordinated

aesthetic. 

       If you are choosing a rug for a room with a twin-size bed the rug should be large enough to have approximately 18-24 inches exposed on the front and sides of the bed.
